Before the machine runs
- Match model, serial/identification plate and quotation revision.
- Photograph spindle(s), drilling groups, controller, drives, vacuum pump and electrical cabinet.
- Check working area and included tables, clamps, tools, holders and accessories.
- Confirm voltage/frequency/phase labels and utility requirements.
Representative run test

CNC pre-shipment inspection questions
Can a CNC machine inspection be completed by live video?
Video can verify identity, configuration and a continuous run when travel is not practical. Use a shot list, visible measurements and an agreed witness time.
Who should define the pass and fail criteria?
Buyer and supplier should agree the criteria before the test. The document should name the part, tolerance, finish, cycle method and required evidence.
Should the machine be packed before final approval?
No. Complete the run-off, corrections and acceptance record first. Packing inspection follows after the machine is approved for shipment.
What photos should be included in the inspection report?
Include the nameplate, control cabinet, major components, machine overview, test material, measurements, included tools, spare parts and packing marks.
