Woodworking CNC application questions
Which CNC machine is used for kitchen cabinet panels?
A nesting router cuts and grooves cabinet panels. Add YM-102 for horizontal side holes or YZ-61/62 when the line requires top, bottom and horizontal drilling.
Can the same router cut MDF, plywood and particleboard?
Often yes, but each material needs suitable cutters, feed settings, hold-down and dust extraction. Test the actual coating and edge-finish requirement.
Can a CNC router make cabinet doors?
It can route profiles, pockets and cut-outs within the spindle, tooling and Z-clearance limits. Door design and finish determine whether additional sanding or profiling equipment is needed.
What changes for mass production instead of custom furniture?
Mass production places more emphasis on cycle balance, automatic handling, labeling, repeatable programs and downstream capacity. Custom work needs flexible tooling and software flow.
